The mission of the Hoover Competitive Basketball Club (HCBC) is to deliver a competitive basketball experience where experienced and motivated coaching, as well as supportive and involved parents, can enable the most talented, dedicated and focused student athletes to attain their maximum potential in the sport of basketball.

The HCBC is a community based organized formed to provide opportunities for improving the basketball abilities of youth, to promote the principles of teamwork and to teach the individual responsibility of good sportsmanship through participation in competitive basketball activities.

The members of the HCBC represent a cross section of educational, social and cultural life of the surrounding community and consists of athletes of good character and athletic ability who participate in the HCBC Travel Basketball Program as well as their families.
